Scratch the surface and you will soon find it’s not that simple after all.

The underlying principles are what separates the “good” from the “great” ones, so read on to discover these top 7 principles Product Managers use every day

Thanks to Peter Yang for his amazing book.

1# Know your Job well

What you need to do > What is NOT your scope

Know the job and know the most important aspects of your job.

2# Eat the “Frog” first

Use the 80–20 principle to decide what’s the most important task of the day.

Attack that first. Finish that big chunk. Say No-No-No.

3# Align people (not only the product)

People + product → Productivity

Three needs to be synchronised to achieve success.

4# Follow the 3-step Process

Have a mental model of process. Keep it simple.

  • Understand
  • Identify
  • Execute

5# Listen to your Customer’s problem
